Who We Are
Every Woman's Life (EWL) is a public health program that helps uninsured, low income women gain access to free breast and cervical cancer screening services. Screening and early detection reduces death rates, improves treatment options, and greatly increases survival.
The program contracts with screening sites throughout Virginia to provide free mammograms, clinical breast exams, Pap tests and pelvic exams to women who qualify. Tests provided will vary by age of a woman. Screening services (mammogram and/or Pap test) for women ages 40-64. Diagnostic services are provided to symptomatic women ages 18-39.
