Advocacy and Information for People with Hearing Loss

International Hearing Society is an active leader in consumer advocacy for hearing impaired.  An example is IHS's Hearing Aid Helpline.  The Helpline provides a referral service, at no cost, for locating qualified hearing healthcare professionals.

Consumer organization represents people with hearing loss and impacts accessibility, public policy, research, public awareness and service delivery related to hearing loss. Provides information to consumers, policy makers, business professionals and family members through the website, publications and message boards.
Virginia has chapters in Charlottesville, Richmond, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Roanoke, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.
