Who We Are

Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDI) provides active national advocacy focusing its energies and resources to address equal access issues in telecommunications, media, and information technologies for four constituencies in deafness and hearing loss, specifically people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, late-deafened, or deaf-blind.

TDI is also the parent organization for the Community Emergency Preparedness Information Network (CEPIN) project. The project intended to promote awareness in emergency management and preparedness activities for special needs populations.

TDI also annually publices the TDI National Directory and Resource Guide, The Blue Book.  The publication contains contact information for many thousands of individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies.  The contact information includes mailing addresses, voice telephone numbers, TTY numbers, FAX numbers, videophone numbers, e-mail addresses and website addresses.
