Skilled Nursing Home

Kissito Healthcare Bland County (formerly Bland County Nursing Home) is a 57-bed dually certified nursing facility located in the foothills of Southwest Virginia. Some of the skilled nursing services for both long-term and short-term sub acute care are:

• IV therapy for antibiotics, hydration, pain management;
• Skilled nursing for short-term medication management and observation after hospitalization;
• Long-term care for those suffering from dementia and chronic ailments that can no longer be managed at home;
• Advanced wound care management, including negative pressure and hyperbolic wound care system;
• Care for those requiring respiratory support and assessments, including continuous oxygen therapy, respiratory treatments and complete tracheotomy care;
• Diabetic teaching and management

Also provided is 24-hour nursing support, supervision and assessments for those requiring short-term, intensive physical, occupational or speech therapy through the rehabilitation department.
