Who We Are
Kendal at Lexington is a not-for-profit Lifeplan Community (formerly called Continuing Care Retirement Community -CCRC) for seniors age 65 and older located just one mile from Main Street in Lexington, Virginia. Kendal at Lexington offers over 20-floor plans, from studio apartments to two-bedroom cottages. Residential independent living residences range from 550 square feet to 2,000 square feet. All cottages and apartments offer full-size appliances and either a balcony or patio. Optional upgrades such as gas fireplaces, built-in shelving, enclosed sunrooms, and French doors are also available. Visit the website to see floor plans.
Amenities include a flexible meal plan, 24-hour emergency response, biweekly housekeeping, common areas maintenance; trash and recycling pick up; wellness programs; social, recreational, spiritual, and educational activities.
The community opened in the 2000's and has been accredited by CARF/CCAC since 2009.
