Canaan Care Services

Canaan Care Services (CCS) is a Group Home designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is an organization aimed at serving its residents at the state-of-art level with qualified professionals in conformity with applicable rules and regulations. Supports and services offered by CCS stem from the missions and goals assigned by its founder.

These missions and goals are to serve individuals diagnoses with intellectual disabilities by helping them in their activity daily living and to meet their day to day and developmental needs in the framework of family size home undistinguished from any other home in the community where they are implanted. The support and services are intended to facilitate the integration of the individuals served in their community.

The support and services offered range from housing, nutrition, grooming, and management of individual’s behavior, personal possessions, medications, and health care needs. Individuals are also trained on aspects of personal and social lives. The supports and services are provided by CCS staff with the involvement of the individuals served and their families.
